Light Revealed
One day in 2003, Aji received a phone call. It was from the Muslim extremists. A complaint letter had been filed against him and he was summoned for it. The evangelist was getting used to all this; it was his third summons.

At the Muslims extremists' office, a man looked surprised to see him. The man, who Aji befriened for some time, was the local leader of a militant Muslim organization.

"Did you force the people in town to be Christians?" the militant asked.

"No, Sir," Aji replied. "I only want to tell people what the Bible has to say about the Prophet Isa. If they refuse it, I wouldn't force it." The Islamic leader nodded. He understood and persuaded the officials to release him. But Aji's mind was still restless. "The letter, who sent it?" he asked.

"You're a Christian, but you have many enemies," the Muslim man answered. He paused shortly before finishing his sentence. "The letter came from a Christian."

Indonesia
Over 80% of the people living in Indonesia are Muslims. The Christian population has been estimated to be be around 16% of the 232 million population.

Monotheism and communal peace are the basis for the stated government ideology of Pancasila. All citizens must choose one of five religions: Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism or Christianity (Protestant or Catholic). The numerical and political strength of Islam has been increasingly exercised since 1990 to give it preferential treatment, limit Chrsitian expansion, and reduce Christian influence in public life. There are, therefore, some restrictions imposed on evangelism and many Christians seek to avoid antagonizing the Muslim majority.
