A Convert Faced Execution
One brother facing execution was Issa Motamedi Mojdehi. A 31-year-old Muslim convert to Christianity, he was arrested on July 24, 2006. In his confidential legal file, he was charged for apostasy, but publicly his reputation has been smeared, being wrongly accused of drug trafficking. He was told that if he did not turn back to Islam, he would remain in jail and possibly face execution. In September 2006 Issa Motamedi Mojdehi was free "for the moment", but he later learned his 8-year-old daughter, Martha, was being accused of sharing her Christian faith with others. The family is now in hiding.
The situation for Christians in Iran is severe.
Please tell your friends about Issa Motamedi Moijdehi and his courageous daughter.
