Question
Are there any believers in Saudi Arabia?
|
Answer
Yes Praise the Lord there most certainly are. There are two types of believers. Because of the many expatriates who travel to Saudi Arabia, like nurses, doctors, technitions and maids etc... there are Christian in the country from the US, the UK, Pakistan, India, South Africa, the Phillipines etc... Then there is the tiny unexposed hardly heard and known of local beleievers who have come to know Jesus through the witness of those who work there but interestingly also through dreams, visions and revelations of God's word in their lives. Christians in that country are not allowed to worship and there are no Churches not even for expats. So all Christians in Saudi need a lot of prayer and encouragement. They need you to storn heaven for them.

Question
Are Muslim Background Believers part of a church? Where do you meet? What is it like?
|
Answer
Nadir (see pp. 212-13 in Secret Believers): We are not a formal church as you are used to it. We meet in very small groups in homes. Two or three families come together, often on Fridays. We share, pray together, then read a Bible passage and talk about it. We love to sing the psalms, but often we cannot because we don’t want to draw attention to our meetings.
