Question
How can we pray for you specifically
|
Answer
For strength and for God to prepare in me a heart that will forgive. For the whole Christian community in the Muslim world to be prepared to stand firm in the storm. Thank you very much for caring for us and for holding us close to your hearts. It is what gives us to strength to bear our crosses and be faithful to the one who bore it first, the one who loved us and knew us from the beginning and knew this path was ours to walk. Because He lives we can face tomorrow. Praise God.

Question
I was just thinking about the verse, "Where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst" And wondered if there was a time many of you Christians pray at..so I and others could pray with you for you at the same exact time? It would be neat if I could get a group (probably my siblings!) and pray along with you in Jesus name even if it is in the middle of the night! Thank you for taking the time to read and answer our questions! May the Lord's peace and joy be with you!

Answer
Well, to be honest a good time this week would be during the Holy Week services. We have Maundy Thursday Services from 5pm (Pak Time) to 8pm, Good Friday Services from 12 pm- 3 pm and Easter Sunday services from 5:00am-7:00 am, 8:00- 11:00 am. Another good time when believers do get together is from 8:00- 9:00 am on weekday mornings and Thursday evenings and Friday evenings from 5:30- 8:30. Most Youth prayer meetings are on Saturday evenings from 4:00- 8:00 those are good times be prayin for protection of these pockets. To be honest, whenever you pray, someone in my country is up praying. But if you wanted to pray on these times specifically then you could always google a website which would help you translate timings. If you are in the West, remember we are ahead of you timewise. Blessings and thank you for your concern. What a precious idea. Thank you. It means so much

Question
Dear Brother Andrew (or anyone else), I have been praying for the Muslims in China for a couple years, but because the situation there apparently requires a high level of carefulness in releasing information, I have not been able to pray in any more than general terms. What are some specific ways I can pray for the Muslims in North-Western China? Sincerely, Anna Wieger

Answer
Dear Anna,
Thank you for your message. Thank you for appreciating the difficulty we face in sharing information that could be potentially dangerous for our brothers and sisters in countries where they are persecuted. Thankyou for none the less perservering in prayer and love for your family. I do not know how familiar you are with this website, but on this website there are regular blogs and news flashes. If you are able to go onto www.secretbelievers.org you will find links to the Maaria Blog and Butros' Blog. Both these blogs are NOT general. They may not give you exact names of places and people, but every situation is up to date and in real time. When you pray for the needs Maaria and Butros put forward you are praying for actual believers and their circumstances in countries like Saudi Arabia, Afghanistan, Iran, Pakistan, Indonesia etc... I assure you that what you see is not fiction in any form. If you read those you will be kept well supplied with prayer needs. Please do read the blogs and share them with others. The more people read them the better. Thank you foryour concern. We could not manage without your prayers. Maaria
